Born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho, Andrew "Doobie" White embarked on his editing journey in Lake Tahoe, initially fueled by his passion for skiing. Over time, he transitioned from a ski enthusiast to a ski video director and editor, laying the foundation for a remarkable career in the industry. Now based in Los Angeles, Doobie has become an acclaimed and award-winning editor, contributing his talents to a diverse array of projects, including features, trailers, commercials, and music videos.

Doobie's impressive editing portfolio boasts credits on notable feature films such as "Monster Hunter" and "Polar." His outstanding work has earned him prestigious accolades, including Hollywood Post Alliance awards for Best Editing and  the coveted AICE award for Best Editing. He’s also received various Editing and Sound Design nominations for both AICE and HPA awards throughout the course of his career.

In 2005, Doobie co-founded Therapy Studios alongside Executive Producers Joe DiSanto and John Ramsay, as well as visual effects artist Wren Waters. This collaboration gave rise to Therapy Studios, a fully integrated post-production company recognized for its unique and award-winning work across commercials, features, music videos, and online media. The company has flourished into a powerhouse, boasting a team of industry-leading artists working collaboratively in a highly creative environment.
